"London, The New Synagogue, Stamford Hill Ernest Joseph & Smithem 1915
An Edwardian replica of the historic Great St. Helen's Synagogue in the City of London, designed by John Davies in 1838 and containing some original fixtures from that building.  These include the concave Ark, inspired by that of the now lost Great Synagogue of James Spiller (1790). Now owned by the Bobover Hasidim, the building was recorded by the Survey in 1996.  Listed Grade II, it was added to the English Heritage Listed Buildings at Risk register."
